What are the best shisha flavours for a first time?
Start smooth and simple: Al Fakher Mint, Grape, Watermelon or Double Apple, or a sweeter Starbuzz such as Frozen Mango, Blue Mist, Love 66 or Lady Killer. Mixing one of them with mint is the easiest way to make a first bowl cool and easy. Tell the team it is your first time and they will steer you.
What are the most popular shisha flavours?
Worldwide the best-sellers are Double Apple, Mint, Grape, Blue Mist, Love 66 and Lady Killer — and it is the same at Fire & Ice, with Frozen Mango and Grape & Mint close behind. Double Apple is the traditional choice; the Starbuzz blends are the modern night-out choice.
What is the difference between Al Fakher, Starbuzz and Savacco?
Al Fakher (£30) is the traditional, lighter, smoother option with classic fruit and mint flavours. Starbuzz (£35) is sweeter and bolder with cooling 'Frozen' blends and layered mixes like Love 66. Savacco (£45) is a premium dark-leaf style tobacco with richer, more complex flavour and a fuller body for experienced smokers.
Can I mix two shisha flavours?
Yes — on Al Fakher and Starbuzz you can mix up to two flavours at no extra cost. Mint with a fruit is the classic combination; Double Apple & Mint, Grape & Mint and Frozen Mango & Love 66 are the mixes we make most.
What does 'Frozen' mean on a shisha menu?
'Frozen' is Starbuzz's name for flavours finished with a cooling menthol note, so the smoke feels cold on the exhale — like an iced version of the fruit. It is not literally frozen. If you like it even colder, add an ice pipe (£5), which chills the smoke through the hose.
What is the Fire & Ice Signature Shisha?
Our own house blend (£50): a carefully balanced mix of premium flavours you will only find at Fire & Ice, packed for a longer, richer session. Ask the team what is in the current blend — it changes with the seasons.
What is a flavour upgrade and a re-head?
A flavour upgrade (+£8) packs the bowl with a fuller, more flavoursome blend that lasts longer. A re-head is a fresh bowl on the same pipe once the first is finished — £20 for Al Fakher, £25 for Starbuzz and Savacco — so you can switch flavour halfway through the evening.
How much does a shisha cost at Fire & Ice?
Al Fakher is £30, Starbuzz £35, Savacco £45 and the Signature blend £50. Extras: flavour upgrade +£8, ice pipe £5, re-head from £20, disposable mouthpieces £1.50. A bowl lasts around 45–60 minutes and is usually shared between two or three people.
